To begin the process, you’ll need some basic information about your business, including the entity name, file number (if applicable) and existing registered agent information. You’ll also need to have chosen who will be appointed as the new registered agent prior to filing the paperwork.
Next, you must fill out Form R-1351 which can be found on the Secretary of State website. This form should include information about both your current and newly appointed registered agents, as well as other pertinent details about your business or organization. Make sure all required fields are filled out accurately before submitting the form.
Once Form R-1351 is completed, it can be filed electronically through the Online Services Portal or mailed directly to Corporations Bureau at 325 Don Gaspar Avenue Suite 300, Santa Fe NM 87501-2382 along with payment.
Once your filing has been submitted, make sure that all applicable fees have been paid according to state regulations and wait for notification from the office confirming acceptance of your request – then you’re done!
